March Athlete of the Month – Amy Lange

1. Nickname: Runna Runna 🙂
2. Occupation: Stay at home Mommy
3. Hometown: Hesperia, California
4. Which class do you usually attend? 6:45
5. How long have you been cross fitting? 10 months.
6. What is your favorite and least favorite lift? My favorite lift is squats, least favorite would have to be thrusters.
7. What is your athletic background? I played tennis, ran track and cross country in high school. I did the 100, 200, 400, 4×1 and the 4×4. I continued running through college, that’s how I met my husband 🙂
8. How has CrossFit changed your life, lifestyle, level of fitness? At this point in our lives, we live and breath crossfit. We are in better shape then we have been in years. It feels great. We have so much fun!
9. What is your biggest accomplishment so far at CFHT? Double unders!!!
10. What are your goals for CF? Just to keep pushing and keep learning.
11. What do you do in your free time? Crossfit, hike and spend time with my family.
12. What is your favorite cheat food? Pizza and Chocolate
13. Tell us something most people wouldn’t know about you. I coached cross county at Victor Valley College in Southern California.
14. Any advice for new members? Take it one day at a time. Don’t get to frustrated. Crossfit exposes your weaknesses. Overcome the things you’re struggle with and crossfit becomes that much more rewarding.
